What the tour looks like
1st stop – Otrobanda
The tour begins in the Otrobanda district, the tourist center of Curacao and part of UNESCO World Heritage. Stroll across the world-famous Pontjesbrug, take a picture of the colorful buildings on the Handelskade, and among all this history, also discover the modern street art so characteristic of Curacao.
2nd stop – Fort Vigilance
Then the brightly colored bus (with no windows, so “natural air conditioning”) will take you to Fort Vigilance. The fort built at the beginning of the 19th century is beautifully situated with fantastic views of Curacao’s coastline and the entrance to the St. Lawrence River. Anna Bay. This is where you take the beautiful overview photos of Willemstad.
3rd stop – Chobolobo country house
The third stop is one to enjoy: you’ll go for a tour to Landhuis Chobolobo, the distillery of the original Blue Curaçao liqueur. You can take a fun tour here to see how the liqueur is made. Of course, you can also sample liquor and don’t forget to take a bottle to enjoy at home.
4th stop – Plasa Bieu & Round Market.
About time for a delicious lunch*. For this you go to Plasa Bieu, where you can enjoy all kinds of local dishes according to traditional recipe. Everyone snuggled together at the long picnic tables. Afterwards, you can shop for local trinkets in the adjacent Round Market.

5th stop – Parke Lucha pa Libertad
The last stop of this tour is at Parke Lucha pa Libertad. This park is in memory of the struggle against slavery. Here you will also find the Tula monument (official name “Desekadená” meaning “unleashed”), named after the leader of the slave rebellion in 1795.
After this visit, the bus tour comes to an end and you will be neatly transferred back to your accommodation.
